Genesis Series Objectives

The primary goal of this series is to provide a chronological exploration of the beginning of world history to build Biblical Literacy in elementary students. We aim to show how the events of Genesis 1 through 11 establish God's Divine Plan to rescue humanity.

  • Establish the Creator's Authority: We highlight that God made everything by just speaking His powerful words and created people in His own image to care for the earth as His special work.
  • Understand the Reality of Sin: We teach how the first disobedience broke our perfect relationship with God, leading to the fear and heart-sin seen in the stories of the Garden and the first two brothers.
  • Highlight God as a Promise-Keeper: We trace the hope of the promised Rescuer from the Garden of Eden through the covenant of the rainbow, showing that God never forgets His children and always keeps His word.
  • Foster Faith and Obedience: Through our "So What" applications, we help children learn to listen and obey exactly as God commands, choosing to trust His plan rather than their own pride.
